74 National Security Leaders Endorse Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff for U.S. Senate
During this challenging holiday season, every citizen of Georgia has a historic and unique opportunity to help reset the direction of our country toward a path of hope, justice, equity, and inclusion.
As senior military and national security leaders, we have been responsible to the mothers, fathers, spouses, and children of our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen to train, equip, lead, and care for them while they serve our fellow citizens in defense of our nation. Many of us have sons and daughters who also serve our nation in the active military, National Guard, and reserve. We need honorable leaders who will make the right decisions for our national security and live up to the sacred promise we keep with our servicemembers and their families.
We are confident that Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff will support Georgia’s servicemembers, their families, and veterans — in the same way they have pledged to support all Georgians — with integrity, honesty, and selflessness. These qualities are not only critical to U.S. leadership but also are particularly needed in the U.S. Senate following the last four years of instability and degraded national security.
Having served the nation for decades, we are confident that Reverend Warnock and Jon Ossoff represent the best choices for both Georgians and our fellow Americans. In the U.S. Senate, they will serve as honest champions of Georgia’s veterans, servicemembers, and their families.
As the late Representative John Lewis said, our right to vote is precious. It has been secured by millions of Americans, both those who have served in and out of uniform, who have fought for racial equality, for gender equality, and against oppression and suppression.
All Georgians have a duty to exercise that right and help move our nation toward a more perfect union. Please vote and persuade others to do the same!
Sincerely,
